Artist's Description
This painting features a flock of Chestnut-mandibled Toucans, the largest toucans in Central America. It's a joy to see such stunning creatures flying free in the wild. If you're lucky, you can even encounter them while zip lining through the canopies of Costa Rica.
About Nathan Miller
Nathan Miller is a painter of wildlife and people. Often, he combines the two, with the purpose of helping us understand that nature and humanity must be more intimately connected. Nathan began his professional career from the beach town of Nosara, Costa Rica, where he spent five years painting the wildlife and people of that region. He then returned to his home state of Florida in hopes of taking his art to the next level. Today Nathan is working on a new series portraying beautiful wild animals immersed in scenes with man-made artifacts of cultural significance. The art found on Fine Art America is from the five years he spent in Costa Rica. To see his new work today please visit www.nathanmiller.gallery.
